Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.(Isaiah 40, 30-31)
How many times this passage has comforted me! How many times I opened these words when I had no strength left! I often spoke them out loud to convince my heart. Today, I share them with you.
God knows what you’re going through, knows every cell of your body, and is not indifferent to your suffering and your cries. On the contrary, He is ready to add strength to you! Take comfort in Him; let Him sustain you!
– God, I need Your strength in my weakness today. Sustain me, renew my strength! My hope is only in You!
For the body: There is no better way to maintain the health of our body than movement – it doesn’t have to be exercise, but regular, for example, half-hour walks. Patryk Sobotka, a physiotherapist from Neuroprojekt, said in one of his videos that if people walked every day, physiotherapists wouldn’t have a job. There’s a lot of truth in that! Move, walk, exercise according to your abilities, but don’t sit – that’s the last thing we were created for. If you can’t go for a walk, simply raise your hands in a gesture of worship! Your strength is coming from Heaven!
